“I first noticed Susan’s work on the coffee table of my Dad’s house. Her brochures of houses for sale in Jonathan’s Landing were very attractive: pictures of each exterior showing clear blue skies with puffy white clouds; shots clearly taken by a drone that showed the homes surrounded by their beautiful landscaping; and the interior shots of the homes showed what appeared to be immaculate move-in ready luxury homes. And most importantly, they had escaped the “round file” because they were informative and attractive, and were on the coffee table along with the National Geographic magazines for interested browsers. So, my Dad decided that at age 93, that he was done with living alone and would try a retirement community. Selling the house became priority number one. I remembered the coffee table brochures and called Susan. At our first meeting, Susan explained the process she would follow to put the house on the market: she would shoulder the cost of a home inspection to discover any possible defects that subsequent Buyer’s inspector might uncover.
